Quran Majeed nourishes our souls: Nadeem Ahmed Khan

Islamabad - Nadeem Ahmed Khan Chairman Khubaib Foundation has congratulated the brilliant students of Madrassatul Khubaib Tehfeezul Quran ul Kareem at the ceremony held for the successful memorization of the Holy Quran Majeed by the students held at the Head Office on Wednesday.

Islamic teachings are the real food of our heart and soul and the great significance of the Quran Majeed is that it has removed the darkness from the entire world, Khan said.

Formal education is more important than informal, as Muslims it’s our duty to equip our youth with religious teachings to secure future; Islam is the divine religion that focuses on religious, socio- cultural and economic affairs.

Hafiz Muhammad Shoaib, Hafiz Muhammad Hamid and Hafiz Muhammad Hanif received gifts on the occasion of memorization of the holy Quran by heart.

It is pertinent to mention here that Hafiz Muhammad Anas Naveed and Hafiz Muhammad Hamid Naveed have been selected for All Pakistan Qirat Competition 2013.

Nadeem Ahmed Khan Condemns Attacks – Supports Gaza

Islamabad – A peaceful protest and dua was held in front of the National Press Club for those who have lost their lives in the heinous Israeli attack on Gaza.

Nadeem Ahmed Khan said that he strongly condemns the Israeli attacks on the Gaza strip and called upon the UN, the D8 nations and the international community to end the violence against Gaza and find a peaceful solution. He also expressed his sadness at the loss of life in Gaza and the deteriorating situation there. He moved to show solidarity with Palestinian brothers and announced that a team from Khubaib Foundation will be travelling to Gaza in the next few days. He appealed to Pakistani’s to join in their support for Gaza.

Khan told of his ongoing fight for justice and the filing of a case against Israeli commanders involved in the attack on the Freedom Flotilla in which 9 human rights activists were killed by Israeli forces, speaking on the occasion. It is pertinent to mention here that Khan was on board Mavi Marmara when it was attacked by Israeli forces on 31^st May in 2012.

Rawalpindi - Live broadcasting has played its vital role and highlighted the actual circumstances regarding the Freedom Flotilla around the globe; Madam Nalan Dal, Vice Chairperson Khubaib Foundation has said this during her lecture on Freedom Flotilla and crucial role of media during this crisis in Riphah International University on Monday.
Madam Dal told that ghazis and martyrs of the Freedom Flotilla journey undertaken in May 2010 to deliver 10 thousand tons of humanitarian aid to the besieged Gaza. She further briefed about the ongoing media war and how media has emerged as the strongest forth pillar of state. Media has played a role as a mirror of Israel policies, it has depicted the true picture of Israel round the globe, she added.
During her lecture she briefed to students about Khubaib Foundation and Insani Yardim Vakfi (IHH) have been serving humanity along with the motive of brotherhood. IHH has aimed to protect unchanging values at the changing world, she explained and the key agenda of IHH is to protect human rights and basic liberties through affecting policy change and making people rely less on aid only.
Col (R) Ishfaq Hussain Assistant Professor Media Science has appraised Madam Nalan Dal and appreciated Turkey for its initiative for Gaza affectees and also promoted the philosophy of IHH. Mansoor Nasir, Director Media Sciences, Bilal Ahmed Research Associate Riphah International University, Additional Director General Khubaib Foundation Col (R) Mazhar Ul Islam, Zeeshan Tahir Director Media/PR were also present on this occasion.
