Khubaib Iftari Programme for Prisoners

“And Feed with Food the Needy, the Orphan and the Prisoner in Love of Him”

Ramadhan is an auspicious opportunity for Muslims to renew their commitment to Allah (SWT) and the Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. For over one billion Muslims throughout the world, Ramadhan is a special month of the year. During the month of Ramadhan, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset every day.

Khubaib Foundation is focused on providing food and nutrition aid to prisoners and communities around the world. The core work of the Foundation takes on a number of different approaches when it comes to dealing with hunger and its consequences. This can range from providing short-term emergency relief following a famine to setting up long-term food projects to keep prisoners and communities self-sufficient for generations.

Khubaib Iftari food projects leave an impact long after a single meal has been enjoyed. When prisoners and communities have a healthy supply of food, children are able to concentrate in class, adults are able to work and earn a living- and most importantly, everybody is safe from the danger of malnutrition and ill health. Khubaib Foundation makes special arrangements for Iftari food project to help orphans, widows, prisoners and underprivileged families during the holy month of Ramadan.

Iftari food project is organized in the areas which are populated by low-income groups and throughout the prisons of the country. The Foundation allocates a handsome budget for the ‘breaking of fast’ project. Khubaib Foundation provides Iftari food for the prisoners. Every year the Foundation organizes Iftari Programmes in a befitting manner during the Holy month of Ramadan.
