Qurbani, on the day of Eid-ul -Adha, has always been a great obligation to this great Ummah of Rasulallah (SAW). The act of ‘Udhiya’ is to commemorate the great act of worship offered by the Prophet Ibrahim (AS).Qurbani in Islamic terms means the slaughtering of an animal with the intention of getting close to Allah (SWT) by giving some or all of the meat to the poor, the needy, the destitute and also the prisoners. Khubaib Foundation is also doing charity to the prisoners by contributing and distributing the Qurbani meat to them. Khubaib Qurbani Programme spread happiness and cheers amongst the prisoners especially during the festival of Eid-ul-Adha where all Muslims are in the spirit of festivities.
Khubaib Qurbani programme has always been a crucial part of the relief work at Khubaib Foundation. With preparation starting months in advance of Eid-ul-Adha, Khubaib Foundation purchase suitable animals, fed them sufficiently and then sought out the most deserving recipients (including prisoners) of the donations. Khubaib Foundation Qurbani program ensure the provision of Qurbani meat to the rightful poor and needy in the country.
Khubaib Foundation performed Qurbani for Flood effectees, orphans, prisoners, widows, needy and destitute people across Pakistan in 25 cities, towns and places keeping its tradition since 1999. Qurban program stretched over three days and from Giligit Baltistan to Sindh and Punjab with over thousand beneficiary families. Qurban was performed in these cities of Pakistan Skardu, Jhang, Sargodha, Rara Muzafarabad (AJ&K), Attock jail, Adyala Jail, Rawalpindi, Islamabad (Slum areas) including all educational projects of Khubaib Foundation.
