Islamabad (June 9, 2025): Khubaib Foundation (KF) provided sacrificial meat to deserving families across Pakistan and internationally under its Waqf Qurban Program during Eid ul Azha. Under the directives of Chairman KF, Mr. Nadeem Ahmed Khan, over 70,000 deserving families across Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Somalia received sacrificial meat.
According to the foundation’s spokesperson, 1,400 animals were sacrificed for Qurbani 2025, sourced from local markets in respective regions. Volunteers distributed the meat among orphans, widows, madrassa students, deserving Afghan refugees, prisoners, and other underprivileged segments of society. Khubaib Foundation teams also collected hides from sacrificial animals, with proceeds supporting relief activities for underprivileged communities.
Khubaib Foundation extended its Waqf Qurban program to support the people of Gaza. Due to the prevailing situation, KF decided to sacrifice animals in Pakistan and process the meat into ready-to-eat canned food. Agreements were made with food processing companies, and the process has been initiated. Tons of canned food packs will be sent through the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to Egypt, and from Egypt, partner NGOs will distribute these packs to Gaza.
KF conducted its largest Qurbani project in Afghanistan this year, sacrificing animals in Mazar-e-Sharif and distributing meat across the country. Waqf Qurban Program 2025 received accolades from the Afghan government specially the governor of Mazar Sharif, who expressed gratitude to Chairman Khubaib Foundation and all donors.
On the Completion of Waqf Qurban Program, Chairman Khubaib Foundation, Mr. Nadeem Ahmed Khan, stated that the primary objective of the Waqf Qurban Program was to deliver sacrificial meat with dignity and respect to millions of deserving families who couldn’t afford meat throughout the year due to low income and inflation.
He extended gratitude to individuals and organizations that contributed animals and hides to Khubaib Foundation, praying that their sacrifices would be accepted by Almighty Allah.
