The year 2025 has been considered Pakistan’s challenging year because thousands of families were ruined by floods. Flash floods and cloudbursts displaced some families and destroyed their homes earlier in Gilgit Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK). Due to rising levels of water in the River Chenab, Ravi, and Sutlej, Punjab faces a severe flood emergency now.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan faced massive destruction during the Pakistan Floods 2025’s first phase. Entire communities were cut off by landslides, cloud bursts with torrential rains. Villages located within Swabi, Swat, and Buner were badly hit. Constant rain made roads, houses, and schools fall down in Gilgit-Baltistan.
An emergency operation in each of these areas was then immediately launched by flood relief teams from Khubaib Foundation. Displaced families were sheltered as our teams provided cash assistance, blankets, hygiene kits, ration packs, cooked food, as well as rescue missions. These interventions in a timely manner, saved some lives.
Though the circumstances have stabilized as the water levels in KPK and Gilgit-Baltistan have subsided, the damage persists. Khubaib Foundation is now focused on long-term initiatives to restore houses, schools, and hospitals, and to offer means for income creation so that people may begin to live with dignity.
Khubaib Foundation knows flood relief in Pakistan means restoring people’s lives, not only emergency aid. The real battle begins. It follows after the water recedes. That is just the reason why the Foundation has prepared itself to:
- Rebuild the houses, schools, and hospitals damaged by the flood.
- Train families vocationally, then provide tools for them so they can generate income plus recover financially.
- Communities must develop in a sustainable manner. Future floods will in that way become less destructive for all.
Khubaib Foundation aids during one of its most devastating natural disasters through immediate flood relief, along with long-term rehabilitation.
Punjab Under Flood Emergency
Pakistan has suffered another catastrophe this time in Punjab. NDMA Pakistan and PDMA have issued flood warnings and asked people to move to safety. Near Sutlej and Chenab River floods have also displaced communities in Sargodha and surrounding districts, making this one of the worst emergencies Punjab has seen.
We can all bring hope together. Families who have lost all of the things that they had can get some urgent supplies, such as food items, clean water, hygiene kits for cleanliness, and shelter for safety. Khubaib Foundation, with your support, can go on to continue with its life-saving work. Donate today to Khubaib Foundation flood relief and stand with Pakistan’s flood victims now when they need it.
