Eid, an occasion of happiness and joy, is a festival that unites families and communities together. But for the orphans, this celebratory occasion can prove to be a reminder of what they don’t have – a loving family and belongingness. Aware of the significance of making Eid special for these children, Khubaib Foundation came forward and distributed gifts among the orphans in its institutions. The organization’s considerate action consisted of new dresses, footwear, and Eidi (cash presents), spreading smiles across their students’ faces and making the festive event extremely unforgettable. By giving these presents, Khubaib Foundation made sure that each child was made to feel special, loved, and important regardless of their situation.
Khubaib Foundation is a home to thousands of orphan children in Pakistan where they are given quality education, accommodation, medical facilities, food, and emotional support. One such effort by the Foundation to make the children feel at home is the Eid gift distribution.
During a distribution ceremony, the representative of the Khubaib Foundation remarked that the Khubaib Foundation sees this joyous occasion of Eid as a celebration of every child, and that “We at Khubaib believe it is our responsibility to not only provide [the children] the essentials, but to also put smiles on their faces on this day of celebration.”
All of this was enabled by donors in Pakistan and around the world who continue to accommodate Khubaib’s vision and support for orphans, widows, and the vulnerable and needy in the community.
Khubaib Foundation is one of the most celebrated and reputable NGOs in Pakistan, and is known for its transparent practices and accountability towards welfare, educational opportunities, and ultimately, long term rehabilitation for orphans. The Foundation is tirelessly and diligently dedicated to changing lives, and restoring hope where it is absent.
