ISLAMABAD: A delegation from Türkiye, led by Mete Memiş, Chairman of AYED Foundation, with other executives, concluded a three-day visit to Pakistan aimed at strengthening humanitarian cooperation and supporting welfare initiatives in different regions of the country. The delegation was hosted by Khubaib Foundation and visited Islamabad, Haripur, Mansehra and Muzaffarabad to review and inaugurate several humanitarian projects focused on education, social welfare, and community development.

Chairman Khubaib Foundation, Nadeem Ahmed Khan, welcomed the delegation and briefed members on the organization’s ongoing efforts for orphan care, education and livelihood support across Pakistan.Other members of the Turkish delegation, including Chairman AYED, Lütfiye Bike, also participated in the visit and engaged with local communities, students and beneficiary families during various project activities. During their visit to Haripur, the delegation inaugurated the Hatice Masjid and a newly established computer laboratory at Khubaib School and College for orphan students. The facility is expected to improve students’ access to digital education and technical learning opportunities.

The delegation also distributed sewing machines among widows and deserving families under livelihood support initiatives aimed at promoting financial independence and sustainable income generation. In addition, orphan children in Haripur and Muzaffarabad received school bags, stationery items and educational supplies to support their academic needs. Speaking on the occasion, members of the delegation reaffirmed their commitment to humanitarian cooperation and expressed appreciation for the welfare services being carried out by Khubaib Foundation for vulnerable communities in Pakistan.
